2026 Forest Stewardship Workshops

Dates, locations and registration for the 2026 Forest Stewardship Workshops are now available! During the workshop you'll identify your forest goals and objectives and write an action-based Forest Stewardship Plan. You'll also receive a personalized visit with a natural resource professional. Cost is $200 per ownership.

2026 Forestry Mini-College

Date: Saturday, March 14, 2026

Location: University of Montana Campus 

Forestry MiniCollege is a one-day educational workshop held on The University of Montana Campus in Missoula, Montana. Anyone interested in forestry is welcome. Professionals from a variety of natural resources-based agencies and industries, as well as researchers from Montana State University and The University of Montana, present a variety of sessions for participants to choose topics of greatest interest.

2026 Women in the Woods

Date: Saturday, June 6, 2026

Location: Crosscut Mountain Sports Center, Bozeman, MT

Spend your Saturday connecting with women landowners learning about forests and the skills needed to care for them. This workshop will feature hands-on, women taught instruction where you'll learn how to operate your chainsaw safely, keep your forest healthy, and reduce your wildfire risk.
