The DNRC solicits fire contracts for aviation - Amphibious Water Scoopers, Helicopters, Large Air Tankers, and Single Engine Air Tankers - through the State Dept. of Administration State Procurement Bureau's electronic Montana Acquisition and Contracting System (eMACS). Aircraft vendors interested in doing business with the State must complete their registration to receive electronic notifications of upcoming bid opportunities. There is no fee for registration. Contracting for portable toilets and handwash stations, type 2 IA crews, and off-road rental vehicles is done internally through an informal process. Contact Lindsey Greene, (406)542-4230, lgreene@mt.gov for more information.
