Dam Safety Program
The Dam Safety Program prequalifies engineering firms every two years. The next prequalification will be in December 2024. Typical service categories include:
- External Engineering Review & Assistance
- Emergency Planning
- Education and Outreach to Dam Owners & Engineers
Additional Service categories depend on projects planned for the next two years.
Floodplain Mapping Program
The State of Montana has a standard contract template that is required. This is often referred to as the "Boiler Plate Contract". Modifications to the boiler plate language is not allowed. Not all sections in the boiler plate are required, depending on the work under consideration.
