Initial Proposal Redemption 18 Salvage Timber Permit

The Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC), Libby Unit, is proposing to harvest timber on the following state-owned parcel: Section 18, Township 29N, Range 27W. The proposed Redemption 18 project is located in the Wolf Creek area, approximately 35 miles from the town of Libby, MT. The proposed harvest would salvage burned timber from the Wolf Syrup Fire from June of 2025.
