State of Montana June 2, 2026 Oil and Gas Lease Sale
The Department of Natural Resources and Conservation held the June 2, 2026 Oil and Gas Lease Sale through the online auction service, Efficient Markets, previously known as EnergyNet. The Second Quarter Oil and Gas Lease Sale opened on May 27, 2026 and closed on June 2, 2026. The June Oil and Gas Lease Sale included 33 tracts in the following counties: Dawson (2), McCone (27), and Roosevelt (4).
