    State of Montana September 1, 2026 Oil and Gas Lease Sale

    The Department of Natural Resources and Conservation will hold the September 1, 2026 Oil and Gas Lease Sale during the period of August 26 – September 1, 2026, hosted by the online auction service, Efficient Markets.  A preliminary list of tracts and request for comments will be released after June 18, 2026.
