    State of Montana June 3, 2025 Oil and Gas Lease Sale

    The Department of Natural Resources and Conservation held the June 3, 2025 Oil and Gas Lease Sale during the period of May 28 – June 3, 2025, hosted by the online auction service, EnergyNet. The June sale included 32 tracts in the following counties: Fallon (2), Liberty (1), Musselshell (15), Musselshell/Rosebud (1), Rosebud (1), Sheridan (7), Toole (1), and Yellowstone (4). The quarterly oil and gas lease sale opened on May 28, 2025 and closed on June 3, 2025.
