State of Montana December 2, 2025 Oil and Gas Lease Sale

The Department of Natural Resources and Conservation will hold the December 2, 2025 Online Oil and Gas Lease Sale during the period of November 26 – December 2, 2025, hosted by the online auction service, EnergyNet. The December sale includes 11 tracts in the following counties:  Glacier (2), Golden Valley (5), Liberty (2), Pondera (1), and Toole (1).

All sales will be by online auction bidding. A description of tracts and maps are available on the DNRC website at https://dnrc.mt.gov/TrustLand/subsurface-resources/oil-gas-leasing and on EnergyNet website at https://www.energynet.com/govt_listing.pl.
