The Tongue River Ranch Stock Water project is proposed to improve and replace the existing stock water system on the State-owned Tongue River Ranch in Custer County MT, south of Miles City. The existing pipelines would be replaced by new materials and leveling the existing tanks. New tanks are being added to the system for better distribution and water capacity. The lines would be installed utilizing a trenching method. This stock water development project should create more reliable water sources for livestock and wildlife, while creating better grazing distribution within the scope of the project.
