The Missoula Unit of the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) is proposing forest management activities on approximately 1,159 acres within the 1,287-acre project area known as the Tamarack Timber Sale Project. The project is located approximately 5 aerial miles northeast of Saint Regis, Montana in the Tamarack Hill area of the Lower Clark Fork Valley.
