Sun River Electric Cooperative, Inc. (Sun River Electric) proposes to install an overhead powerline located on state land, referred to herein as the “Project”. The proposed easement route will connect from an existing transmission line on state land in section 36 and head north across sections 25 and 24 until it reaches a generation site in section 13. The Project will result in approximately 3.732 acres of easement area. Installation of the overhead powerline will provide power services to the proposed generation site buildings for Greenfields Irrigation District on Pishkun Canal. The Project will keep the battery for the generator circuit protection charged and the control building at a temperature above freezing.
