The Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) Conservation and Resource Development Division (CARDD) is issuing a Final Environmental Assessment for the Stillwater Conservation District River Orchard Canal Project. The project proposes to use American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to replace a headgate and control structure; remove rock, sand and gravel deposition from the canal; regrade and stabilize the riverbank and canal bank; repair and replace the access roadway; and finish grading and seeding.
