Montana DNRC-Missoula unit is proposing a 126 acre prescribed fire in section 6 T12N R15W in Missoula County. The area was previously masticated under the WHERE-M-I PCT. The burn would take place in either spring or fall. Hand ignitions would be used and roads or handline will be used as control lines. Notifications will be made to adjacent landowners, the local VFD and other agencies. Burning would only take place on approved airshed days. A burn plan will be adhered to during the entire duration.
