This is a draft Environmental Assessment for a programmatic review of aggregate testing applications on State of Montana School Trust Lands. The action alternative analyzes the potential implementation of a checklist EA that would streamline work for the agency and applicant. If the no action alternative is selected, testing permit applications would continue to be evaluated on a site-by-site base through a narrative EA. This is a draft analysis and the agency is accepting public comment on the adequacy of the draft until 5 pm, December 16th, 2024.
