The Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) Conservation and Resource Development Division (CARDD) is issuing a Final Environmental Assessment for the Hysham Irrigation District Intake Improvements project. The project proposes to use American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) program funding to install erosion control measures on the bank of the Yellowstone River upstream from the irrigation canal headgate, revegetate riparian areas along the river corridor, and replace aging irrigation canal infrastructure.
