The Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) Conservation and Resource Development Division (CARDD) is issuing a Final Environmental Assessment for the Hill County Milk River Levee Project. The project proposes to use American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to raise the west closure structure embankment, develop a plan to decrease the width of the east closure structure embankment, construction, and the removal of thirteen encroachments in the levee right-of-way.
