Harris V Hanging Lazy F Ranch LLC is proposing to convert flood irrigation to sprinkle irrigation by installing a new pivot irrigation system state land lease AG-4931, referred to herein as the “Project”. The Project will consist of a water intake at the Spring Valley Canal, installing a new electrical service, buried mainline, placement of a new cement pivot pad, and installation of new pivot. The proposed LUL will allow for 3 phase power to cross state land and tie into 2 other pivots on deeded land to the west. This Project will have limited ground disturbance, with the buried powerline resulting in the most soil disruption. See Exhibit A, Project Location Map. The Project will improve irrigation efficiency and timeliness and in return, improve hay production.
