The Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) Conservation and Resource Development Division (CARDD) is issuing a Final Environmental Assessment for the Gallatin County Highline Canal Project. The project proposes to use American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to remove sediment from and repair Cottontail Road, unbury and restore Cockrell Ditch, remove debris and sediment from farm field, repair canal embankment and install liner to canal.
