The Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) Conservation and Resource Development Division (CARDD) is issuing a Final Environmental Assessment for the Gallatin Conservation District Farmers Canal Irrigation Project. The project proposes to use American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to repair or replace the Cottonwood Creek Headgate to ensure that only the intended amount of water is diverted into the Farmers Canal.
