The proponent has requested and filed that state application DS-409 Application for permit to take and remove gravel from state lands form. The site was inspected by DNRC Eastern Land Office field staff in October of 2024. The proponent expects the project to take up to 300 yards of material. The proponent would be required to close the pit and re-slope the contours after completion of the project. The proponent would also be required to reseed the site with a suitable seed mix after completion. The anticipated pit size is expected to be less than one acre.
