Jeffery Contracting, Inc. henceforth referred to as the proponent, has applied for a Land Use License, LUL, on State Trust Lands within the above-referenced tract in Silver Bow County. This project area can be seen in attachment A on page 16 of the EA. If approved, the proponent would be granted an LUL to use the area as a point to stockpile cold millings, also known as stripped asphalt, from the Wise River-East Montana Department of Transportation project. It would be expected that approximately 4,000 cubic yards of material would be stockpiled, in a timeframe beginning in early July for two to three months.
