The Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) Conservation and Resource Development Division (CARDD) is issuing a FinalEnvironmental Assessment for the Cascade County Sun River Avulsion Prevention Project. The project proposes to use American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to stabilize the banks of the Sun River to reduce erosion and prevent the channel from migrating away from the Sun River Ditch Company's irrigation canal system.
