The Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) Conservation and Resource Development Division (CARDD) is issuing a Final Environmental Assessment for the Butte Mining District Reclamation and Protection Project – Phase V. The project proposes to use Reclamation and Development Grant (RDG) funds to identify, excavate, collapse, and backfill of up to 200 linear feet of utility chases within the Anselmo and Steward Mineyards, rehabilitating tunnels, building foundations, windows, doors, roofs, and other historic elements, and the installation of institutional controls such as parking areas and walkways.
