Riverside Contracting, Inc. henceforth referred to as the proponent, has applied for a Trust Lands aggregate take and remove permit in Beaverhead County, approximately 8.5 miles northwest of Dillon, MT. The proposed action is to issue a permit for the ability to mine, crush, and remove gravel from Montana State Trust Lands. The application is for 103.5 acres, although only 35.0 are bonded and will be eligible for disturbance. The permit would also authorize the proponent to operate an asphalt plant within the boundaries of the permit.
