Custom Seedling Production for Large Projects
Ordering from the nursery’s annual sale is a quick and convenient option for most projects, but larger projects benefit most from a contract. By setting up a contract in advance, the Nursery can grow the exact size, species, quantities, and seed sources you require, ensuring seedlings are ready when your project begins. This customized approach provides consistency, reliability, and peace of mind for long-term planning. Because the process starts with seed, contracts typically require about 18 months for fulfillment, giving us the time needed to grow healthy trees specifically for your project.

Native Seed Increase
Seed increase contracts offer a dependable way to expand the supply of locally sourced native seed for restoration and conservation efforts. Through these agreements, the nursery can increase seed that you provide, grow from species currently in our inventory, or collect seed on your behalf for production. Each increase is customized to meet your project’s species and needs. Because seed production cycles vary by species and growing conditions, most contracts require 1–2 years from planting to harvest. Establishing a seed increase contract in advance ensures a consistent, traceable, and high-quality source of native seed to support long-term restoration goals.
