For small wells (35 gpm or less, up to 10 af), the well owner must file a Form 602-NHCGW, Notice of Completion of Groundwater Development, North Hills Temporary Controlled Groundwater Area (NHCGWA) within 60 days after the water has been put to beneficial use.

The North Hills Temporary Controlled Ground Water Area shall be extended for two years (April 25, 2010) for purposes of study of Mont. Code Ann. §85-2-506(2)(b) and §85-2-507(a) in an 11.0 square mile area, known as Drake Zone 2 in this Final Order, within the following legal land descriptions (see map for exact boundary):

Township 11N, Range 4W:
d. All of Sections 1, 2, 11, 12, 13, 14;
