OIL AND GAS LEASING INFORMATION
The Department conducts four lease sales each year for oil and gas leases on state land. Tracts can be nominated by filling out a lease application form, which is available upon request.

Sales begin promptly at 9:00 AM. The March, September, and December sales will be held in the Department of Transportation Auditorium, 2701 Prospect Ave., Helena, Montana. The June sale will be held in the Scott Hart Auditorium, 302 North Roberts, Helena, Montana.
PLEASE NOTE: The September 6 and December 6 lease sales are on Wednesday due to a holiday and availability of the auditorium.
