Montana DNRC is currently unable to offer Fuels for Schools grants for the design, construction and installation of wood biomass boiler systems.
We do offer sponsorship of Pre-Feasibility Assessments for eligible facilities to determine if they are a good candidate for a wood biomass energy system.

Opportunities listed here vary and can provide funding for diverse applications including facility installations, business development and support, research, cooperative efforts, land management and more. While these lists are not all-inclusive, they do provide a good resource worth exploring as many Fuels for Schools projects have utilized funding from this diverse listing.
