Watershed Management Grant Program


Program Purpose

DNRC’s Watershed Management Grant program supports watershed related planning and management activities which measurably conserve, develop, manage or preserve the state renewable resources and/or support the implementation and development of local renewable resource plans and the state water plan.

February 28, 2018.

Application Fee

No application fees are required.

Eligible Applicants

Local government, state government, and tribal government entities.

Non-profit entities may apply with local government sponsorship OR as a private entity with match requirement.

Match

Local government, state government, and tribal government entities: DNRC will provide 100% reimbursement for eligible activities. No cost share match is required.

Non-government applicants: A cost share of 50% of total project costs. Match may be in-kind services or cash. 

Funding Amount

Up to $20,000 per grantee per biennium. Indirect costs are not covered by this program. Each award shall not exceed two-years.

Funding Program Limit

DNRC’s Watershed Management Grant Program has $300,000 in funding available for projects until June 30, 2019.
