How to Apply for Compensation

Download and use the attached CBMPA Application Form to apply for up to $50,000 per land owner for loss of water or water rights due to Coal Bed Methane Activities.  The maximum amount paid to a landowner or water right holder for emergency loss of water supply may not exceed $50,000, and may not exceed 75% of the cost of damages.  There are some guidelines for proving damages as described on the form.  The burden of proof is on the landowner.  See the Contacts portion of this website for additional help.
