Grant Limit: $15,000. Any request over $15,000 will be considered based on fund availability and program merit.

Watershed Planning Assistance

Fundable Projects: Watershed planning activities such as facilitator services, developing a watershed plan, baseline data collection, planning educational activities, etc. Not intended for site-specific design and construction projects, or permanent staff.
Eligibility Requirement: Conservation District-sponsored watershed group
Grant Limit: $10,000

Education Mini-Grants

Fundable Projects: Student and Adult Education projects that focus on water, weeds, or other natural resources, or equipment for classrooms.
Eligibility Requirement: Conservation District-sponsored natural resource education.
Grant Limit: $500
Application Deadline: Ongoing

Range Improvement loans

Fundable Projects: Fencing, seeding, stockwater development, and other range improvement practices.
Eligibility Requirement: Private landowner
Loan Limit: $50,000 @ 3% interest for 10 years.
