| Project Description: Put out RFP to seek master tenant and/or follow-up on requests by individual firms for development proposals in the north half of Spring Prairie in either commercial or mixed professional areas. It is anticipated at this time that aside from DNRC staff time, potential developers would be responsible for any planning/engineering costs. The primary purpose of listing the project is to allow staff to prepare for or respond to proposals and opportunities in a timely manner. Anticipated opportunities include the relocation of DNRC offices pending legislative approval this Spring. |

| Additional information: The Spring Prairie Center in Kalispell has seen a wide range of activity in the past year. This activity has included: proposal and lease negotiations with Holiday Inn, the ongoing construction of a high school and completion of a fire station, the sale of 85 acres for land banking, ongoing lease negotiations for U.S. Forest Service offices, and the determination of a bypass easement on the property. In conclusion, Phase III is expected to be under construction in 2006. The site is also home to the newly constructed Costco and Lowes. A Planned Unit Development was approved for the entire trust land parcel. |
