Private Forestry Assistance
Mission: To promote good land stewardship by providing quality forestry knowledge, leadership and technical advice to non-industrial, private landowners and others striving to meet their forestry-related objectives.
DNRC Private Forestry Assistance (PFA) Foresters are available for a variety of one-on-one consultations and are usually conducted on site.
These consultations may cover the following:
- Insect & disease identification and treatment recommendations
- Forest fire protection and creating defensible space

- Comply with Forest Practices Laws & Rules
